Anna Sui is for lovers.
Really, her clothes are a m a z i n g! Take a look at this top (sold out on Taget online?)!
Miu Miu!
Oh hey there, fashion. I want that
Miu Miu chenille tweed skirt (left) and those satin pumps (right). Too bad they don't have my size (neither the
skirt nor the
shoes). Damn. If I had $340 for that skirt I would probably buy it right now, or $230 for the shoes. Gah, the pains of being a middle-class citizen. I wish I could wear clothes designed by
Miuccia Prada! My parents won't even pay the generously discounted prices on
The Outnet, but I doubt I could probably convince my mum to give me fifty bucks for these
leggings (or those
leggings), and that's a reasonably amazing price for Miu Miu!
Saving the Earth is not rocket science!
Caleb Turman of Forever the Sickest Kids (right) is hot for green, and not just because he's an eco-friendly ginger.
Save our planet. Yes. It really would be a good idea. Sure, humanity has come so far with technology and it's wonderful, but do people really know how fucked up this rock is because of them? You may not agree with Al Gore (he's really taken things a bit too far...) but you can probably agree with everything else. So what if you'd have to shell out a couple extra bucks for those eco-friendly lightbulbs at Target? You'll be helping the environment by using less power, which costs less money. Ergo, you'll save money in the long run by spending a bit more at the beginning. I know we can't all go out and fix our homes up with solar panels (though that'd probably be great if you live in Arizona, since Virginia is way too cloudy for it to be that effective), but there are those little things you can do. Not only buying eno-friendly products and organic foods, but making sure that recyclables are put in the recycle bin instead of the dustbin (that's just for rubbish)! Besides doing that at home, literring out in the community is just stupid. There are fines for literring ($200 around here!), which is a stupid thing to do because you shouldn't be so lazy that even if there isn't a dustbin nearby you can't find one, making the ignorant and illegal act even dumber for those careless folks around. If we want a world to be here for not only future generations of humans but also animals for them to enjoy (look at, as eating animals pollutes as well) and plants for all sorts of things (aesthetics, building (wood), fibres (clothes), habitats (duhr), etc)! It is imperative that each person do his part in saving the Earth. Since the bureaucracy and its red tape are so inefficient (amazing that the government has anything happening) in propogating this, it's up to people to take initiative. Join local clubs or write to congressmen. You should do your part in keeping our planet healthy and habitated!
The Maine <3
Left to right: Jared Monaco (guitar), Tim Kirch (manager, in the way back), Kennedy Brock (guitar), Pat Kirch (drums), Garrett Nickelsen (bass), John O'Callaghan (vocals)
God, I can't even put into words how much I love this band. I hate that people call them sell-outs, because they definitely never did such a thing! They have worked hard to achieve a level of recognition... and they know it. They're all really talented musicians! Anyway, they released a
documentary with the deluxe edition of their album ‘Can't Stop, Won't Stop.’
The Maine has got to be my favourite band, hands down. Sure their music is pretty music mainstream pop-rock, but that doesn't stop it from being completely awesome! Yeah... and John O'Callaghan is totally my hot hot husband.
